Description

Are you looking for Retail and Admin work experience? If you can spare 2 or 3 hours a week, we’re always looking for friendly people to join our Taunton Furniture store to help on our tills and phones at the cash desk.

You will be a point of contact for our customers, helping them with any queries and arranging collections/ deliveries - this is a great role to improve your retail and customer service skills.

Volunteering can help you to:
• Learn new skills or develop your existing skills further
• Gain valuable work experience and strengthen your CV
• Meet new people and build a new social circle
• Increase your confidence

We can offer you:
• Full induction training and on-going support as you volunteer with us
• Flexible shifts to volunteer that fit around you - 2 or 3 hours a week would be great
• You will have an opportunity to learn lifesaving skills by completing CPR training
• Reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses as agreed with the Manager – we can cover the bus in!
• Plenty of tea and biscuits, and the opportunity to have a laugh and get out of the house!

Organisation Description

The British Heart Foundation Furniture store in Taunton is recruiting volunteers for flexible opportunities that will help raise funds for life saving research into heart disease.
